GHS to remember 9/11 with stadium stair climb

Todd Olinger (WGIL)

Learning about the September 11th terrorist attacks has been an eye-opening experience for at least some of the students at Galesburg High School.

That's why, through the GHS "CARE Club" and School Resource Officer Todd Olinger, they are holding a first-time "Streaks 9-11 Stair Climb" for students and faculty Wednesday, September 11, at F&M Bank Stadium.

Olinger talks about it with Will Stevenson on Galesburg's Morning News.

Seamus Reilly

Lots of big things have been happening for both campuses of Carl Sandburg College, and its downtown Galesburg Annex.

A new Science and Technology Center was built on the main Galesburg campus, a number of other improvements have been made at the campus in Carthage, and the Annex is about to undergo a bit of change that will keep it operational.

Seamus Reilly, Carl Sandburg College president, talks about all of it with Will Stevenson on WGIL's Galesburg in Focus.
