REPLAY: Galesburg Silver Streaks Football@ Moline Maroons

The Galesburg Silver Streaks traveled to Browning Field in Moline Friday night to take on the Maroons in a rain soaked Western Big 6 match up. After Galesburg fumbled on the opening drive, Moline took only four plays to open the scoring on a Corbin Schnell 22 yard touchdown run. The Maroons extended the lead to 20-0 scoring on each of the next two drives after Streaks punts. Moline running back Pablo Perez accounting for both scores. The Silver Streaks finally got on the board following a junior Sal Kisler sack and fumble recovery. Senior Sam Satisky then converted a 35 yard field goal in the elements. That would be as close as the Streaks would get however, falling to the Maroons 41-10.

Galesburg(2-6) was led by senior Amarie Richardson on offense with 14 carries for 57 yards and a touchdown. Junior Jamar Range added 40 yards on 6 carries. Moline(4-4) racked up 414 rushing yards on 41 carries. Junior Corbin Schnell led the way with 283 yards on 14 carries a 2 touchdowns. Senior Pablo Perez added 139 yards on 23 carries with 3 scores.

The Dave's Autobody Crunch Time Player of the Game was Sal Kisler for his sack a fumble recovery that led to the Streaks first score. Galesburg returns home next Friday for senior night and the season finale against the East Moline Panthers.
