Chicago-based Golden Apple helps teachers and students looking to become teachers in a number of ways. The newest way they want to help teachers is by addressing a statewide teacher shortage. The “Accellerators” program will put teacher trainees in areas where the need is the greatest. Alan Mather, president of Golden Apple, talks with Will Stevenson on Galesburg’s Evening News.
